Some applications I cannot work without:

1. Fiddler2 (http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/)
Recently used this tool to verify responses from a Flex application on Internet Explorer. The website has details on how to read responses in case of HTTPs site.

2. Live HTTP Headers (Firefox addin)
Have been using this tool on Firefox before starting to use Fiddler2 on IE. Quite a useful tool to reconfirm LoadRunner scripts and length of responses. Helped me before we had the Flex addin to run Load tests on Flex applications. (I did have fun with all the binary data.. would make sense to anyone who has tried this. Definitely not pretty.)

3. PSPad (Best Code Editor)
Pspad is one of the best code editors I have ever used. I find the Find and Replace window of this tool extremely useful especially the “List” and “Count” options on there. Also find very useful the “Search/Replace in Files” to make bulk edits to multiple scripts. Especially adding comments and other stuff at one shot. Very nice tool.

4. Winsnap (Screen shot tool)
A very cute tool and makes excellent screen shots with borders and shadows. Small footprint and very easy to use. I have been using this tool since the days that it was free.

5. CCleaner (System cleaning tool)
Best cleaner I have ever used for registry cleaning. Never had an issue with it and has been very very easy to use. Trustworthy!

6. ASAP Utilities (Excel Addin)
Asap Utilities is an addin for Microsoft Excel. Gives a bunch of functions to handle worksheets, data, ranges, etc etc almost anything you can think of doing with data on Excel. Makes it a breeze to analyze raw data from LoadRunner Analysis.
